The calentano hat originates from Tlapehuala, Guerrero, within the region known as Tierra Caliente, which also includes parts of Michoacán and the Estado de Mexico.
It is made primarily with natural royal palm fiber and, in some cases, with pine slivers; this time we are representing it in .925 silver.

It is crafted from .925 Plata Nacional Mexicana. Using the Lost Art Wax casting technique. Its quality is exceptional, with every detail, like the ribbon and the ixtle weavings of the hat.
